New Vehicles
This system reflects MSRP or Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, which is the federally regulated “List” price. In some cases such as Saturn dealers, this price is truly fixed. In most other cases, this price is negotiable based on local “supply and demand”. In all cases the dealers in the CyberAuto Network have agreed to quote YourFCU members their best price in an up front no-haggle manner when you call or e-mail the contact for each dealer to verify a specific price. We encourage you to report any variation on this policy on the Dealer Evaluation form on this system.

Pre-Owned Vehicles
Many dealers put a list price on their pre-owned vehicles. This may be in writing or on a sticker that they install on the vehicle or simply “painted” on the windshield in multiple colors. This price may be firm or negotiable depending on the dealer (remember Saturn dealers use a fixed price system). Many dealers set this price with room to negotiate a trade in allowance on your used vehicle. The dealers in this system have agreed to provide their best price to YourFCU members when you call or e-mail the contact listed for a firm price. In all cases (New or Pre-owned) the dealers in the system have agreed to provide the credit union with the same firm fair price in writing for loan verification purposes.

Take Advantage of the Internet
Factors which affect prices include supply and demand, the age of the vehicle (how long on the lot) and even the dealers perception of the consumers knowledge and negotiability. Use of internet systems such as this can increase the dealer's perception of your strength. It puts the power of the credit union behind you. The dealers in this system know that you are going to evaluate them and report on Pricing, Service and your overall experience using the Dealer Evaluation Form. Use this form to get the best deal available and to be able to tell other members about your experience good or bad.
